In 2025/26, the Traceability Adoption Program (TAP) continued to make meaningful strides in strengthening traceability across the province’s agriculture and food sector. By supporting practical, on‑the‑ground improvements, TAP is helping businesses adopt systems that improve efficiency, strengthen food safety and support long‑term resilience.
This year, 63 projects were supported through the program, representing $900,000 in funding to the sector and $1.46 million invested into traceability in BC. The projects spanned the full value chain, with 33 on‑farm initiatives and 30 post‑farm projects, demonstrating the broad applicability of traceability solutions across production and processing.
