Fruit Grower’s Resiliency

Fruit grower resiliency is essential to maintaining a strong and sustainable agricultural sector in British Columbia as producers face increasing pressures from climate change, extreme weather, pests, disease, and shifting market demands. Programs funding by the Government of BC help growers renew orchards and vineyards with more resilient, climate-adapted, and market-ready varieties that can better withstand environmental challenges while improving long-term productivity and profitability. Supporting fruit grower resiliency strengthens local food security, protects the economic viability of BC farms, and helps ensure the continued production of high-quality BC-grown fruit for future generations.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
