Bee BC Program

The Bee BC Program offered funding to enhance bee health throughout the Province.
The program supported small-scale regional/community-based projects to research, explore, field-test and share information about best management practices associated with bee health in British Columbia. The program enhanced bee health-related activities and information sharing among beekeepers.
“By engaging students in the project, we have created ambassadors for the ongoing health of bees.”
Aaron Grant, Morgan Creek Farm
“This meadow showcases the possibility of transforming marginal, corporate or public land into a thriving habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.”
Dr. Lora Morandin, Pollinator Partnership Canada
“Initiatives like the Bee BC Program are instrumental for helping us co-create a healthy and sustainable environment for bees, other pollinators and mankind.”
Linda Martin, The Bee Awareness Society

Project Profiles & Successes
A primary goal of this program was to share the information learned in each project with the bee community in BC.
To honour that goal IAF continues to maintain the program’s successes online for sharing.
