Project Coordinator

Investment Agriculture Foundation (IAF) is in search of client-focused team players. Reporting to a Program Manager, the Project Coordinator will focus on the administration and coordination of our client’s digital journey from funding application to project implementation and reporting.
The Project Coordinator is IAF’s key point of contact for clients applying and accessing government funding through programs designed and delivered by IAF. Communication with applicants through IAF’s client portal, online chat platform, email, or phone is part of the Project Coordinator’s customer service role. Administrative tasks that support clients will include the review and processing of project applications and reports, data entry and file management.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
- Application and project lifecycle processing:
- Coordinate client application intake,
- Conduct eligibility and due diligence review,
- Support client contracting,
- Support client reporting,
- Collect and summarize project data for program delivery requirements.

Job Requirements & Conditions
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in administering a high volume of applications across diverse program portfolios.
- Ability to read and interpret project budgets, financial tracking, and invoicing to make risk-based decisions and implement operational procedures.
- Ability to collect, summarize, and collate qualitative and quantitative information for management.
- Demonstrated experience in desktop applications: Microsoft Office
- Knowledge or willingness to learn new Customer Relationship Management Tools and Databases (Fluxx, Dynamics 365, Power BI)

- Effective time management and responsiveness to competing deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Service oriented skills, a willingness to help where/when needed.
- Attention to detail.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education and/or a minimum of two years’ related experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a role requiring external communications to clients and / or key organizational stakeholders.
- Experience/Interest in agriculture, environmental and/or natural resources.
- Preferred experience/interest in non-profits.

CONDITIONS
- Job Location: Victoria (preferred) or Lower Mainland of BC (Head office located in Victoria)
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000 per annum
- Status: You are a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have a valid work permit.
- Travel: You may be required to travel from time to time within the Province of BC. Travel expenses will be covered by IAF.
